Hello, my name is Manoj Mahendran

Full time engineer trying to take advantage of vacation time, credit card points and spontaneous trip bookings.

It's hard to say where I'm from because there are a few places that have really impacted me and made me into who I am. I was born in and grew up for a signficant part of my childhood in different islands in the Caribbean including Jamaica and the Bahamas. My family, as you might imagine, is from India although I have never lived there. I moved to Arizona when I was 14 going through high school, college and grad school.

Now I find myself taking advantage of being in Orange County, California. 2017 has been and will continue to be "The Year of Manoj" and I hope that having this blog will motivate me to not stop exploring this world we live in.

I hope this blog inspires you to explore new places and experience new things. Learn about what is out there and more importantly, the people that are out there.
